Sweet! Looks like fun Ryan. One day I'll be posting pictures that look like those - Broncos and Land Cruisers out on the trails. I've got two good buddies with FJ40s, another friend with a Bronco (and now an IH Scout 800 has joined the ranks). The FJ40 guys are the ones responsible for getting me into 4-wheeling...

PS... gotta love the complete lack of suspension flex on those FJs!

5 years.....on the fj? What did it look like before?
He needs to cut the front bumper and do a springover and add some 35's. That should take another 5 years to do.....he works at my pace.
Hopefully, I can repair my junk and go for another test run at hollister, hopefully making it out of the parking lot soon.

Why not the SOA? Just curious. I did this on my cj5 and was able to run flatter springs and correct the pinion angle with new perches.

the main thing with the SOA is the fab skill that we are lacking..my welds look like a bird SHAT on it. It is going to be a DD just like mine
The shackle reversal only uses its full potential when a more arched spring is used. we have been reading up on this for a while and came up with the SUA lift...
All i have to say is... shoulda got a ford
