  • Anyone want to run the Swamp Lake trail this weekend?

Me and a couple other rigs are going to run the Swamp Lake trial this coming weekend, the 13th and 14th. Anyone want to join us? It's a two day trail. We'll be camping one night at either Swap Lake or Grouse Lake which are about the half way point. Should be perfect weather.

I would love to go but my rig is still not done. Another trip missed.

Spent every night this week after work building a new shaved and trussed rear end housing and swapping it for the old bent one. I just finished it tonight and got the bronco all loaded and ready to go
I just need to pack an ice chest and fuel up in the morning! I'll take some pictures for all of you who can't make it.

Here are the pictures, I took most of them during the drive in. Sorry I didn't take to many since I spent most of the time working on my bronco. I didn't even get one shot of my own bronco. Unfortunately there was a lot of smoke in the air from the North Fork and Kings Canyon fires, so the view shots are pretty hazy.

Looks like some nice 4-wheeling! Sorry to hear about highlander's breakage but otherwise looks like a good time.

Patrick, I see your rig is still sporting its UA decals... I take it they have become permanent fixtures? Looks good either way...

No........I've just been too lazy to take the time to peel them off. I haven't even touched the rig sense the UA trip. They'll come off as soon as I have free hour or so to get out in the garage and take them off.

I grew up for a period down there in Lemoore when my dad was in the Navy. It is one of the nicest places I have lived as an outdoorsman. I have a lot of memories hunting and fishing in that area.
