  • Anyone in the Bay Area build bumpers?

Anyone in the Bay Area build their own? I am looking to pick up some bumpers like protofab or similar. I would love to build my own but lack the welding skills. Wondering if anyone would help me build my own?

Do you have a contact # for him. I have seen Hansen's website and he made very nice looking bumpers.

          Thanks

Spoke to him yesterday. Seems like a real good guy. Your front bumper is what I talked to him about as well. Really like the look with the recessed lights in there. What brand and model lights did you put in it?

I realize that you've already talked to him on the phone, but if the website you checked out was the one from hansonoffroad, that's not his website. That's the "other company" that 904 was referring to.
They're in Bakersfield and don't do customs.

So just in case, don't e-mail them through the website looking for Wayne.

You could build a bumper from cardboard, tape, and glue and then use the pieces as templates to cut them from steel plate. Tack it all together and then have someone do the welding for you.

I built mine using plate. I could take some pics and show you.

I don't mind helping out too when time allows. Let me know.
                          What can I fix next?

My pleasure. Created album on here with some quick pics.

The cardboard is real good idea for sure. Using plate you can get real creative and make some cool contours too.
