Went to look at some Audi leather full power heated seats for Shari's Luber yesterday. Great looking seats, deals done! then he proceeds to hook up 12v to show me the power lumbar/bolster do work, BANG the side airbag blew! 12v to wrong pin ha ha. Well my ears are ringing and he has a bloody face. He then says 'I guess I have to discount them now' lol scooted out with sweet seats for $40, just have to get a seam sewed up

Can a seat with a deployed air bag be repaired? I have those in my seats, but no other power accessories so I just tucked the wiring inside the cover.

I would assume so by looking at it, just split the side seam....might have to pull it off though to sew from the back side
