  • What are some options for center dump HEADERS?

I am looking for new set of headers. I want to get some really short (center dump) ones. Only options I have found are wildhorses and maybe BBK.

Does anybody know bolt pattern similar to wildhorses headers in another company or brand?

BBK has some, but not sure if they will fit 74 302 motor since they are for 5.0 motor. I guess I need to find out bolt patter, but some companies could not help me with that.

    Thanks guys.

5.0 and older 302 are the same except for p heads i think(explorer) and highports(trickflow). Basicaly, all stock style heads are the same.
    I just used these http://m.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g9063

You need to change the starter though to a mini style.
If you have an auto get a 93' mustang 5.0 starter.
If manual 96' ford bronco starter.

Thanks for the info and the suggestion. I did talk with Summit a week ago and they could not tell what header would work. Hmmm.... Did some research and did learn about the P head and explorer motor stuff.

I am going with the BBK headers that are super short and will work.

          Bbk makes block hugger headers?
Or you just going with shorties?

If shorties i have my old patriot clipsters that put the collectors in good spots, better than mustang shorties, still can't run mech clutch linkage but you can have them for a six pack. Should have pics in my build thread early on.

I run the Summit block huggers as well. Some modification is needed.

I am going with shorties. That are part #35100

They seem super cool and dump in good area with relation to motor for routing the exhaust.
