Anyone Hike from Ershim Lake to Coyote Lake?

Hope to have a layover day at Ershim, looking at the maps the trail to Coyote doesn't look too bad. Anyone done it? Worth the trip for fishing? I have never been to either spot, would like to check out as much as possible while we are there.

I have camped at both lakes and both are beutiful!! Fishing is good at both lakes. I've never hiked between the two lakes though. That sounds like it would fun. How long is the trail?

I think I actually found that trail when I was up there in July. I guess I should say I found "a" trail and wondered where it went. It looked fairly flat leaving Coyote Lake but who knows.

If your making a day hike from Ershim I would look at the lakes the other way in wilderness. Coyote is a great lake, but there are many other great lakes in that area that can't be driven to.
