Elk trip 2012

I drove back to town yesterday. Got home this morning at 3:30. Good to be home. Trip was a successful one. It was great to get away from work for 5 weeks. Going back tomorrow. Here is a photo of the bull I was able to harvest on the 24th. My hunt lasted all of 1 1/2 hours on opening morning when I raised this guy out of his bed and then laid him right back down in his bed. If you're a PETA lover, sorry. He is gonna taste great this winter!

Nice! I have been working up in Cheyenne, Wy and all my Subs. have been showing me their elk or antelope hunting pics for the past 3 weeks.

I saw a picture of this beast last weekend. I need to re-think my Elk hunting and leave Colorado to spend a little time closer to home. Nicely done....

Thanks Dave... We actually got another Bull on Saturday (week ago today). A very successful trip for us. It was nice meeting you and again, congrats on your new ride!

my son been in colorado sense may guiding fishing and elk hunting trips, spoke to him tuesday and they have taken some toads! he will be leaving the 14th to come home, hes supriseing his mom who thinks he will be gone till december,i cant wait
