I did not need another project but could not pass up a free classic. Neighbor wanted it gone. No use for the junk auto/400 CI. Happen to have a '75 vin tag. Might be a good home for a 5.0. It can sit for awhile and appreciate in value.

Re: '77 Stepside
Looks like a Gas Monkey special. A hot rod motor under the hood, clear over the paint to protect the "patina" and then sell it for big bucks. Or something.1970 Bronco

Re: '77 Stepside
205 or 203.
Locking hubs it could still be a full-time 203 but with a conversion kit.
Have to look at the case to be sure.
With GM's it was easy. If it had an automatic trans, it got the 203. If it had a manual, it got a 205. With the Fords I think you could order it either way.
There are images online to show what each looks like, but the one that looks like a standard cast-iron transfer case shape is a 205 and the one that looks a little bulbous with a cast-iron main case and an aluminum "range box" section is a 203.
Pretty sure that the old Dana 21 was no longer available in '77, but I could be wrong.
