I had made a 2x4 rack that didn't hold enough to a 3x5 that works out a lot better. Load is lower and more spread out. At 3' wide I clear most stuff at off camber. At 4' and running old sluice, expect a bent rack.
This. A tight trail with trees will modify it for you.
Wow, I just realized there is sexual innuendo in this thread... oh my! I just Googled "rack"and this is what I found. My Bronco top could not support this! (You young guys probably think us old guys are nuts, but we think a lot).
I will just road trip down and pick that Rack up, That way you don't have to worry about it any more.
