I like how your car matches the building.

Side question - how do you like that car?

I may be in the market for a replacement for my smog cheating VW TDI. I am starting to doubt they're actually going to "fix" my car; and that is irritating because it's one of the nicest cars I've ever owned... and it gets 45mpg.

I never saw myself as being interested in Subaru cars, but AWD and reasonable economy is a pretty strong argument.

So far its been a great car....we average 30mpg when she is driving and 24+ when I do. I live in a hilly area. I've had one front CV go out, but that's about it. Handles great and feels better then the competitors. Meaning you can see out of it better and just feeling more 4x4 adventurous then a cheap plastic shit box or space mobile. Personally, it needs more power like a "sti" version of just the outback motor and if we were to trade it in I'd probably go forester even though its slightly goofy looking

My wife has a 2016 forester with the 6-speed manual. Way zippier than the 08 outback she traded in.

It's going to take me a year to decide what to buy, so I might as well start looking now. I like buying cars, don't like selling them. If VW forces me into it, I want to find something that I like, that possibly serves more of my interests.

Went and looked at trucks over the weekend, holy crap prices are out of control!

Yea...only new truck I'm getting is used and probably 10yrs old, because a $70k new diesel that gets shit mileage is out of the question.
I will say bombing dirt roads at 50mph like up at Knoxville is hella fun. Awd is where its at.
