  • Shop recommendations?

    My father in law wants to get rid of some of his old cars. They need to be ran through because they been sitting so long. Pretty much like tune up, gasket replacements, rebuild carbs, etc. Does anyone know someone trust worthy and does good work in nor cal area?

                      Those cars are going to bring some serious money. You probably should take them to a shop that specializes on working on collector cars.

                        Not sure where he's located, but Precision Auto Service in San Bruno seems to handle a lot of classic and specialty vehicles. I've never used them myself, but hear good things about them. They also seem to be good at taking misguided projects from other shops and get stuff handled. As well as working with owners on handling tougher aspects of work and letting the owners take care of what they want to spend time on.

                        If you're on instagram, they post a fair amount of their work... @precisionautoservice

                          I know this probably too far for you, but I know Alan at Precision and have seen their work. Honest guy.
