    Generally, I do more maintenance on my stuff than the average person.

    Yesterday in preparation for my road trip today, I was torquing the wheels and one of them was loose.

    So I pulled the drum and found the below. Can you say FUBAR?

    The other three were fine, 60% lining left. Why this one did this, I do not know. The Trailer shop a couple of miles away does not know.
    But because I am a good customer they took the job in on top of all their other work and stayed a 1/2 hr late to get me ready.

    Happy to pay the bill and buy some beers

    That sucks. I hate trailers!
    They always screw up an otherwise perfectly average trip. Usually though, they wait until you're mid-way betwixt and between. This is where your manic-maintenance-man attitude pays off.
