  • I just picked up the new WH M1A1 23 gallon fuel tank.

    I'm going to powder coat the skid plate. I'll be replacing the stock tank.

      Will do. I just took the skid plate to the powder coater. Will have it back by the first of next week. I think I'm going to have to rework my exhaust. I think it will interfear with the candy cane bolts and mounting tabs.

        I was at WH a couple weeks ago and saw that tank.

        Its built perfect and the stainless looks awesome

          I finished the tank installation a couple of days ago. It took about an hour to install the fuel module and sending unit. It took about 5 hours for a buddy and I to remove the old tank and install the new one. You definetly need two people for this install. It was fairly easy but you do need to wrestle the fuel filler inlet and vent outlet on the tank past the frame rail. The installation kit comes with all the hardware needed for the installation.

          This is a very well thought out tank. Kudos to Jim at WH. Here are a couple of pics with the tank and skid plate installed:

          You can see in the pics some tweaking of the tailpipe with be needed.

                Agreed. Nice job on the install the tank looks great. That'll be the last gas tank that you will ever need for your Bronco!
