  • Got my engine in

Of course I can't find the right bolts to put the flywheel etc on so I can install the tranny. aaarrrrggghhh. I really hate the "parts" stores that never seem to have the "parts" I need. I think they should be called "accessories" stores. Hopefully Ace will have them when they open in the mornin.

The fly wheel bolts have a low profile head that's what makes them different from regular bolts.

      hey bud
I may have my old ones. I seem to remember getting new ones when I got my new clutch and flywheel. Don't know if I'll be able to find them before you go out and buy them but will try.

Yeah it definately feels good. To many parts needed to run with you guys this year but it is a big step. In was really hoping to get to SOB or even to the Contina shindig this year. Guess it's a good thing there are always "next times".

Kinda funny about the pics. I got so excited I got to finish something I took like 20 pics of the work I got done today. And that wasn't much. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have more with the tranny in and the body back on. Only have a couple hours in the morning before the kids wake up to get it done. Then it's the honey do list.

Remember, the auto flexplate bolts are shorter that teh flywheel ones. You shouldn't use ase hardware. If you can't get a set from a member here, I would just wait and get some ARP from summit for a few bucks...

                    Are you auto or manual?
