  • Carson is a little sick...

Here are a few pics of the little one...

We spent the week at the childrens hospital in Madera. It appears that Carson has a rare anomoly that internaly connects his belly button with his bladder. It is called a "patent urachus". I'll spare you guys the gory details, but it was a scary week to say the least. When the ER drew blood, it took 5 techs. They poked every corner of his body. I ended up getting the resident doctor in there because of the trauma they were putting him through. Massive incompetance. Train your crew on another baby, ass hole...Anyway, the infections are down and we are home, but we still don't know where we are going from here as far as surgery...keep him in your thoughts and prayers..

Hang in there Carl. Everything will be just fine. Eventhough this is a rare case it dose happen. Will it require surgery? We have some of the best pediatric Urologists/General surgeons here at UC Davis Med center. God Bless. Let me know if I can help in any way.

                Thanks Chuck...We appreciated this.

Carson will be going back to the Hospital Wednesday for the ultrasound to find out to what extent the internal issues are. We might be admitted for surgury...let's hope not. He seems ok not, but the doctor said that that might not be good as the issue might have closed it's self off and inclosed infection inside. I guess it was a good thing that it was seeping...keep the prayers going.

Thanks for the interest. You know, this was a very rare anomoly. The local doc has never seen it is his 30 years. The specialist in Madera has seen a few, but not that many. He has NEVER seen this recovery. Last week at the hospital, the problem was completely gone...What? GONE! The ultrasound, the dye injected X-ray, etc. GONE. THere wasn't even a trace of it. The Doc said that in rare cases, the connection will dry up and receed to it's normal space. Most of the time it needs to be removed via the knife. Well thanks to all who were thinking of us...we really are lucky to have the support...

Here is a pic of the discharge room at the hospital...

And one of him really wanting to drive home...
