  • tube measurements for tie rod/drag link

It seems the tie rod setup I bought years ago is too long. must have been for the full width front end. Anyone either:

    1 want to trade sets
2 have a few new bungs they want to sell so I can cut mine down or
3 give me the tube measurements so I can order a new set

I already have the chevy 1 ton ends, just need a shorter set of tubes.

All I actually need is a 7/8 18 tbi weld in bung. Either side is fine.

Gave me a reason to go touch mine so here ya go irregardless.

25" from the drop pitman arm to the T and 38" between the TRE's. Mine are tapped for the TRE. 5.5" lift.

If you would rather tap the tubing then weld in inserts I would be willing to help out, I have the 7/8-18 left and right taps. You could measure my ends to determine if they are the same as what you want and then go from there. I might even have some 1 3/8" o.d. x .250" i.d. tube that I could sell to you, its chromo too!

I originally bought my tie rod kit from seven rivers, and found out later that Parts Mike in Auburn sells everything and keeps it in stock to build the tie rod/ drag link set-up. He has different lengths of DOM, 1 ton tie rod ends, tube adapters and jam nuts, and much much more.

turns out my tubing is odd. I cut it down and can not shorten it with what I have. Besides, I got the wrong ends from AA Fab. I just ordered a new tie rod from Adam and will pick it up Monday.
