  • Anybody been to hell hole trail?

Might be going there this weekend. I read its only 4mi. and if the lake is full the trail gets cut off.
Is it worth going to for the wheeling?
I'm afraid I won't have fun and waste gas getting there. If its just a scenic trail, which is fine, I'll just go to the rubicon.

Went there a few years back. Some good stuff, but mostly, very scenic. At the reservoir, there was some playing to do. Not a hard trail, and not much I remember about it except for the beauty.

sounds like a good place to fish.

Have not done the trail but been there to fish. It is a LONG drive in from Auburn. Distance not too bad but a lot of it is twisty canyone 25-35 mph driving. Great country but if it was me I'd go to the Rubicon.
