Anyone that needs steel, aluminum, etc check out Alco Steel in Vallejo. I just picked up 4x8 sheet of 18gauge for $50. Its more than I needed, but it beats the Home Depot prices. Only problem is you have to buy the whole piece. The local steel shop in Fairfield wanted almost $100 for the same piece.

When it comes to steel. It's usually better to buy a whole sheet or full stick. Ex. My first steel purchase was 5' of 1.5x.250 Dom from a shop in downtown sac ($60). Did a little more research for my second purchase 21' of 1.5x.250 Dom ($120) from team tube.72' in pieces and piles of awesomenessComment
