  • Long range AR-15 build

    This is my dad's AR-15 that he built. He has no urge to clear rooms or shoot zombies in close proximity so he built it to hopefully shoot sub-MOA groups from 300-600 yds. He just got it together with all the rifle parts and hasn't shot it yet but it should do well.

    DPMS upper and lower
    Timney 3lb. Trigger
    Shilen 20" HBAR contour ratchet rifled stainless match grade barrel in 223 Wylde
    ACE Socom collapsible buttstock
    4-14x44 BSA mil-mil tactical scope
    Harris bipod
    DPMS full float hand guard

    That's way cool. my brother is into long range shooting and doing good with just a 300 super mag. I don't remember the range but its further then I can see.
