  • Bolts needed: Explorer dress A/C compressor

Anybody got the mounting bolts for an Explorer dress A/C compressor mounting. (There are 4 total) I need the two without the 6mm studs on the end. Will pay for shipping.

I probably have them Doug, but it's gonna be hard to find them. Do you know the length, and thread pitch? I'll take a look.

Bolt is almost 4 7/8" long, 8MM, 1.25 pitch, bolt strength is 9.8 on the head, which has a flat washer built into in. (forgot the fancy name for that)

      Thanks Jim.

I may have them too. Are you needing the bolts that mount the compressor to the bracket or the mounting bracket to the block/head?

Not sure when I can get down there to see Doug. My son is in town on a surprise visit from the Marine Corps. Maybe tomorrow...

The bolts showed up in the mail today... My thanks to all that looked, it has been a hectic week, with no time for the Bronco...
I am sorry if anyone (Jim, Brad) went to great lengths to look for them.
