  • ISO: Ford Explorer Brake Conversion Setup

I finally got a new rear big bearing housing, and I'm wanted to run disk brakes on the rear. Instead of buying a whole new setup, I have heard that the Ford Explorer rear bolt on as a conversion. Has anyone done this, and know where I can find the parts? Any pitfalls? Thank you

You need med duty axles. I bought ford motorsports kit from summit. you have to re drill wheel pattern and put spacer on the axle before the brg.
