So I assume I am not telling you anything you don't already know, but if you are reaming to go tie-rod over on 1978-79 bronco knuckles (or 1976-79 f-150) you might end up having trouble with "hour glassing" the knuckles because the original taper is much larger than on the early bronco ones. I ran into this trouble when I used F-150 knuckles, ended up going the Ruff Stuff insert way.
