Well, I've decided that it's time to upgrade my Bronco to full hydraulic steering. I am selling all of my ram-assist parts including the Ford Saginaw steering gear that came on my Bronco from the factory. My Bronco has less than 30,000 miles on it since new and the steering gear is fully functioning with no slop. I didn't drill any holes in the box for the ram assist. It has a billet aluminum end cap that is tapped in 3/8" pipe and the top cover is tapped for the other line.
Other parts I have include:
-a 1.75" x 8" PSC single ended hydraulic ram
-2 right hand thread and 1 left hand thread new 1 ton Chevy tie rod ends
-1 used Ruff Stuff tie rod end 52-1/4" end to end of the tube adapters(tube is 1.5" x .250" wall tube)
-1 unpainted/never run tie rod 50-1/4" end to end(tube is 1.5" x .250" wall tube)
-1 used drag link 40-1/2" end to end(tube is 1.5" x .250" wall tube)
The hydraulic ram has a bent shaft which would cost $65 in parts(shaft and seal kit) from PSC to rebuild. It comes with the steering box unless somebody wants it separately for cheap(this ram in a kit is $185 new).
The tie rods are for a Dana 60 and can both be shortened for Dana 44 axles.
There are lots of good parts here that can save you quite a bit on your build when compared to retail. The steering gears are very hard to find especially in good shape being that these are the only Saginaw boxes Ford ever had built. I'd like to get $600 for the steering gear plus your choice of other parts. If you just want parts without the box, I'm open to offers...
