I WILL BE TAKING THIS TO WILD HORSES TOMORROW!!!
Completely rebuilt 351W HO .040 over from heads to lower. I bought this for the LUBR project but have decided to use the roller motor I have because my Edelbrock heads are set up for roller cam.
This is a fully numbered (stamped throughout) S&S Engines rebuilt crate motor that originally came with a 7 yr 70,000 mile warranty. You know it's done right with a warranty like that. I can confirm the quality of build.

I bought it and quickly noticed it had very low miles. I'd guess a couple hundred. The motor had zero wear. Just to be safe, I completely disassembled the motor and honed the cylinders with a fine grit flex hone. I also made the necessary lifter galley oil flow modifications. This increases oil to distributor gear and helps the oil get onto the cam then back to the sump.
I installed new bearings and rings, plus a new oil pump. I bought a 351W 4x4 oil pan, but this only goes with the motor at full price since I still need it.
The cam is a stock 90s era 4x4 Bronco-truck flat tappet cam and should be fine with these heads. Crank is .010 under at the mains and the rods. Cast pistons, clevite bearings, perfect circle rings, and melling oil pump. Heads are stock heads and were also completely disassembled. I checked valve guide play, lapped the valves, and reassembled. The valves are .010 over.
This motor is perfecty built and solid. It was assembled cleanly and with care as all of my motor builds are. The new owner will have a great motor with plenty of power with no issues. I'm confident in my motor building skills, but unfortunately this is still a used part and will come with no warranty whatsoever.
No intake or valve covers, and includes an
electrical fuel pump timing cover. I temporarily installed this just to keep timing chain covered..
