ID:	287161Hi,
My project took a different turn and I decided to keep my 435. I have a zf5 in good condition with a Bc broncos hydro clutch kit. So new master, new slave cylinder, new hydro line and clutch rod. Only selling because I bought an atlas and don't really need an overdrive just wanted one. Will post pics later. Not lookin to make money just want what I have into it. $800 for all of it. I also have a 205 out of a 3/4-1 ton that will bolt up to it. Will throw it and a ford 203 range box in for $300. The 205 is currently bolted to my 435. Pics to come

    Thanks
    Russ

The transmission works both right side up and upside down. 😜

Sweet deal...that would be sweet in my dual purpose commando....if I had money.

That's a great deal. I would be all over this if it did not mean that I had to buy an Atlas t-case to go behind it. I can't afford to lose gearing by putting a D20 behind this tranny (currently run an NP435). Dangit I am tempted anyway... maybe the house re-roof can wait. haha.

is your only reason for want ing the zf the 5th gear? or is there much of a drivablilty/shifting difference between the two? I have to stop to shift to 1st most of the time with my zf. (sorry for the hijack)

All I wanted was the overdrive. I actually really enjoy the shift pattern of my 435. The zf and atlas together are longer than I prefer and I trust my 435 in 3rd and 4th gear in 4 low. Not sure if the zf would hold up to the same punishment. If it doesn't sell I may keep it to make a daily driver out of another bronco.

ive beat my zf pretty good in all gears. 4500 5000 rpm in 2:1 with the 205 at like 60 mph in the desert

Any problem with drive shaft length or angle in the rear? The atlas with the zf is about 1" longer than the zf 205 setup. I'm really torn on which to use......Selling the zf funds more parts. But an overdrive would be nice and a 5.7/1 first gear is pretty decent.

I dont have a bronco, but I love the combo of my zf, klune and 205, tho I find myself using low, low, low less often with the bigger motor. I do however limit my rear travel by a lot due to my rear shaft cardan binding and thats with a 113" wheel base.
