  • Looking for 40's Truck

I know this is waaay off topic of Broncos, but I just thought that I would throw this out there. I am looking for a rat rod project that is sitting a field somewhere. I am looking for an early to mid 40's truck. Ford or course would be my first choice, but chevy, dodge, IH, it doesn't really matter. All I really need is the cab, doors, hood, grille and a bed would be nice. Does anyone know a guy that has one sitting in a barn or field or side of a house? Of course, cheaper is better.

LOL, I know, I know! I've had this project for years, just thought it was about time to finish it. I've got the frame, suspension and drive train for it already. Now I just need to find a body to finish it.

I’ll try to get a hold of a guy I know. He’s got 80 acres out here with some stuff littered around.

              Do you need a title?

No. It would be nice, but not necessary.

That would be great if it was an early to mid 40's. This one is is a 48 which is a different body style. Thank you though!

                        Hey John,

I was trying to delete my post, but I accidentally deleted your post.

Would you mind checking with them to see if they happen to have a 40-45 Ford half ton truck?

I can try and check. I'm not sure when I'll see them next. I know they have some Internationals and a fee Chevys. I haven't seen any old Fords over there (except for the bronco I got from them ). I can also get you the phone number if you want.
