Re: Wanted Trailer 80 inches wide
FYI, A car type tlr will have a deck at about 72-73 in between the fenders. An equip tlr will have a deck over the wheels and be either 96 or 102 wide.. You wont find an 80" wide deck tlr thats why all the crawlies put a tube over the fender to drive over or block the decks up.CORRECTION!!! I'm a dumb ass!! I dont know what i was thinking... went out and measured my tlr and its 82" wide between the fenders...Sorry!Last edited by TBS-POPS; 03-18-2009, 06:15 PM.72 sport/exp.,TBI 302,NP435,4.56 Powrlok/ARB in Full Width's.5.5" CAGE lift w/arms,2'' bl,37's, rescued from the concrete jungle (L.A.) Re: Wanted Trailer 80 inches wide
Hi all, Got a trailer. It is only 76.5" wide, but I can change to a Narrower offset spare in front and drive the Jeep right onto it, I May widen the deck later, but it is fine for now. FrankYes, It's a Jeep, Can't we all just get along?
35s,44s locked,102:1 blah, blah, blah. I'll upgrade whatever breaks next, something will, I am sure, hopefully it's something cheap.

Re: Wanted Trailer 80 inches wide
My buddy ordered his trailer new from Featherlite and had them just tack the fenders in place. He then cut off the welds, and used Jeep hood catches to hold the fenders on. When he's loading a small, wide tractor or something, he just removes the fenders, drives on, then puts them right back in place. Bada-bing, bada-boom. Sweet!
We hauled my heep up to Oregon and back on it last Oct. Stopped at Tom's Bronco Parts in Medford and loaded up a front axle, rear third member, etc. for my Bronco.
