broke all the bolts off in the lower inner plate.
Need it and 4 bolts.

Time to buy a good tap & die set. Crappy way to start your Sunday or finish off a Saturday.

I assume you are talking about the plate that retains the hinge bolts?

If so I had the same issue, was able to rotate it enough to drill and tap new holes. Getting the first one done is the hardest.

Might be worth a shot, would hate to cut the post open if you don't have to.

No need to cut the post. I've got it out. Just wanted to avoid the drilling and taping. There are so many stock carriers around that people aren't using I thought someone close by had to have one laying around.
