I think it's just that they did not have the full WH paint job with logo, because they were an early test set.
I wasn't there when they were posting them up though, so that's just a guess.

Now we'll probably have to wait through the full 3-day weekend before Jim gives the full skinny on them.

It is as Paul has perceived. These are left from the original samples and are just no logo. It's a great deal if you were thinking of getting 4.5s
Looks like I have one set left.
