Hey Doug or anyone using a mustang radiator, do you have ay pictures of how the factory mustang radiator mounts?

I was gonna use the explorer radiator like some here, but it is too tall to work for my application. The mustang radiator looks like it would be perfect based on measurements found online, i just need to know how I can mount it to my frame.

It sits in a rubber mount at the point where the tank to core seams are... The top has the same rubber mounts, in arms that mount to the radiator support... I will work on the pictures...

could I trouble you for a shot of just the bottom of the mustang rad if you still have it out?

does it just sit in that cradle? with the top mount holding it in place? On line it looked like there might be some 'locating' pins?

No pins, the rubber on the bottom and top have grooves that fit the tank/core seam. Pull the top mounts off and out it comes...

Thanks. Is it specific to year?

The 1st Fox body started in 79 and ended in 93, there was a body change in 94, and then again in 05.

87-93 were the same, 79-86 are probably close... Easy to check on line, find a part number for 87-93 and list all the applications that it fits

what app is yous for Doug? I have checked both a 94 and 90 at the stors, both have a 1" thick core and a 2" or so thick tank. Yours seems to have a consistent thickness just like other ford radiators I have seen

There was a 2 row or 3 row core, mine is a 3 row. 3 row was an upgrade back in the day, when these Mustangs were on every corner...
