    when welding in the trac bar riser do i do short stitch welds spaced out to let things cool down?
    1970 Bronco 302 np435 3.5 lift 33s disc brakes ford 9 w Yukon locker

    No, burn it in! It's being jointed to the axle tube, not the cast center section.

      i built a jig and burned it in.. front bottom and back.

        Axle tubes warp fairly easily, I would skip around, letting it cool, and I usually put a strongback across the opposite side, just to be safe.

          Yup! Skip around and let it cool. Axle tubes will curl like a pretzel.....
