  • looking for mechanic maintenance in the bay area

I was at spaceburgers for a while today and he helped me determine the things I need done to tune up my truck
I am hoping to take it to someone around the bay area if anyone can help or refer me to someone

I need the timing, mixture and idle adjustment
Spaceburger wanted me to indicate I think my engine has a cam...

let me know if you can help, thanks

Those are pretty simple adjustments. Why not just do it yourself? Timing is super easy with a timing light. And what carb do you have? Manuals are readily available online, and tuning is fairly straightforward

I like old VW shops though. The mechanics know how to tune carbs and every mechanical better know how to time the engine. Or if you ever drive to the Central Valley, I'd help you tune it

I wouldn't mind helping. I am in San Jose. I have all the ASE mechanic certifications, and have built a bunch of Bronco's.

Tuning a carb is pretty easy, You can actually watch a few youtube videos on it I'm sure too.
