is it possible to install a 435 without doing a body lift?

It is possible. But pretty tough and you'll need to cut a slightly larger hole for the top of the np435. I installed mine after installing a 2" body lift and it was still pretty tight (but I did it all by myself)

I did recently. Wasnt too bad, I just made a new tunnel to cover the shift tower
