  • Will Dodge NP435 adapt to Ford?

Checking out combos for gearing, found a NP435 with 203 adapter from a dodge for sale. Might be another way to go to get a 203 range box/D20 crawler setup. Can you change input shafts or is it more complex to mount it up to the stock 302?

If the adapter from the NP 435 to the 203 is more than 6" inches long it will probably make it too long. If it can be changed to a Ford bell housing and input shaft it may be more work and money than getting a Ford Np 435 and the adapters. If the whole thing is less than $200 bucks the 203 is worth that alone.
The Dodge 435's were available with a 4.56 and a 6.69 first so make sure you know which one your getting.
