Axle Length?

I just want to confirm that the length on all Bronco big bearing rear ends are the same. I have a 9" out of a '76 in mine and recently got some spare axles for it. The axles are Dutchman Bronco 9" BB 31spline.

This comes up because I have started hearing that the '76-'77 rear end is slightly different than the earlier BB rear ends. That the offset or something like that is different. WTF?

So if somebody could clear this up for me I'd appreciate it. I'd hate to be on a trip, confident I have spare parts , then turn out they don't fit.

I have attached a chart from Superior Axle with axle lengths. I will see if I can find the offset specs for the different brake set ups.

Good news and bad news.

The good news is I pulled the axles out of my rig and they are the same length.

Bad news is, one of the bearings on the axles in my rig had a crack in it. I was running on borrowed time.

The real good news is I found it before my trip down to Dusy/Ershim.
