Motorcraft 2 barrel on the wife's rig for about another week or so. It will have a new motor by Thanksgiving though, 5.8L with EFI. That's what I run in my trail rig and love it so I got another one for the wife's. I'm not a big fan of carbs, although I have a lot of friends who have good luck with Q-Jets and properly dialed in Holleys.

Mine's a Carb motor (firing Order) with EFI bolted to it.
How I got there was because I bought a Mustang 5.0 motor, and did not want to run EFI, and put a normal cam in it........ 8 years later I wanted EFI.

I ran a 4 holley, Edlebrock, and motorcraft.
The moto was the best off road, but did not have enough power for the road IMO.
      I hated the holley.

I've always been to broke for a good EFI system.

However I've run a Q-jet on all my rigs up till now. I've surprised myself at the angles the qjet will run. Get a GOOD shop to rebuild a junkyard Qjet and you will be more than happy for pretty cheap too.
