Front Ford Dana 60 specs

Friend of mine is looking at one but the guy doesn't have a camera to send some pics.

Anyone know the specs?

I believe it's still 8 on 6.5". Are they high pinion or not?

some are high, some are low. need to know the year and what it came out of if poss.old std was 8x6.5 yes

Apparently I was drunk when I posted.......hahaha

it's out of a 1991 and it's a ball joint front end, which limits my steering options to........stock pretty much. bummer

I'm not sure if 1991 is ball joint, but I know 1992 is. There were some king pin D60's in the 80's (for some reason I want to say 87 to 90 or 91, but I could be way off). It should be a high pinion, any thing 1980 and up comes off a 36" frame, which has a really short driver's side tube. Something like 3" or 4", so it's hard to fit axle wedges. 78'-79' D60 has 7" or so on the short side. 1991 is still worth some $$$, but not as usefull to a Bronco owner. If you can get it cheap, you could easily sell it and use the money for a older style D60.
