  • 351 windsor oil pan questions

    Hey all, its been a while. I have some questions. Im building a 69 351w stroked to 414ci . I need a rear sump oil pan that will use a 2 piece main seal.
    Does it matter what year pan I use?
    Will a pan from a one piece model work with a 2 piece seal?
    This is going in a 71 f100 with a crown vic front end.

    I was under the impression that all 351 oil pans were the same, but I don't have any experience to back that up, I used a 1996 engine and pan from the same truck.

      I could be wrong, but I don’t think Ford ever had multiple variations to the small block. Oil pans do come in at least 3 variations, front sump, rear sump and double sump.
