I have a 94 351W out of a Bronco. When I took it out last weekend it ran around 200-205. It never went above that so I am guessing it likes that temp. Is this normal for a late model 351?

Re: How hot should my engine run?
Sounds about right for an EFI motor as they require a hotter thermostat. My carb'd 351 seems to hang around 170 degrees no matter how its being driven (freeway, trail, town).1970 Bronco

My EFI 302 runs 190-200 all the time. I remember when I switched over from carb to EFI, I thought I had an over heating problem since the carb 302 hovered at 160-170 all the time. The up side is the heater works better now in the winter...1969 EB, 88 Speed density EFI 302, HP D44 front w/ARB, Radius arm long arm, NP435, D20, D60 w/power lock rear, 4link rear with 4" stretch, Front and rear bumpers made by me.
