Shifter Trouble
My 66 keeps getting stuck between gears, It has a hurst floor shift. It either locks in R-1 or 2-3 any ideas? All of a sudden my 69 is stuck in neutral! Same B.S. Can you guys help me ?

sounds like the shift linkage needs adjustment. the rods may be hitting each other and binding.70 Bronco with extras; 351W TBI,C-4, D20, HP44 locked w/ 4.56, locked 9" w/31spline, 35 tires, pb 4w-disc, on a 5.5 lift with WAH and Rockers. -
Well after a little messing around I figured out why my shifter was locking in gear, The linkage needed to be adjusted. All it took was a 1/4" drill bit to center the shifter, Then remove and adjust the rods seperately with trans in neutral. Pretty damn simple considering all the B.S. it gave me, Finally got to drive it. Jim
