Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? It seems expensive. Is there a cheaper substitute? I like the heat and noise dampening claims but does it really work?

Lizard Skin is a nice product; I've seen it on some show cars and its insulating and sound deadening properties are superior to most undercoat/bedliner products. I have no personal experience in any vehicle I own, but if I were to build a carpeted, comfortable rig I'd definitely consider it. I am sure like everything else, its durability and performance are directly correlated to the effort and prep that you put into it before spraying.
