  • Barrett Lake Run Sept. 7-9

Just want to invite any fellow Bronco owners on our anuall Barrett lake run. For anybody that is new this is a great run for any Bronco with 33's at least one locker and rock sliders. There will be a couple Bronco's and a couple Jeeps. This is a great run with a great bunch of guys, every year our group grows double!! The only rules are no women and bring you own food, and nobody gets left behind, ever! The beverages usually become a community item but we always have a great time and everyone is very responsible seasoned wheelers. Let me know guys, here's the plan.

Friday-leave Wrights Lake trail head by 9am
arrive Thursday afternoon at Barrett. Trail is 6-8 hours long one way

Saturday-Leave Barrett lake before 12am be back at Wrights lake that night for a big cookout and campfire story telling.

Sunday- go home or do a short run on the trail. fish ect...

We will be arriving Thursday night at Wrights lake. If you want more info or want to join us let me know. Our caravan leaves from Santa Rosa and we take I-50 the whole way.

The trailhead is at Wrights Lake. Wrights lake is about 6-8 mi off 50. The exit off 50 is about 25-30mi past Icehouse. You climb about 2500' though in that 6-8 mi. It's much steeper and has more turns than Icehouse but way shorter. Saddle up man you got 3 days!! I'm already counting down this is a big annual trip for my buddies and I.

I thought I remembered hearing there is a width restriction on this trail? I'd like to check it out when my rig is put together.

I had to put my 95 Z71 in 4 low to pull my bronco up that strech of road and it still sucked balls. I don't remember the meas., but we squeezed thru with 39s at ~87 wide.
