We had a great weekend up there. Started in through Eagle Lake at 9am and camped at Meadow Lake at 6:30. We ran all the winch hills pretty easy with the two JK's needing a slight tug on #1. Winch hill 3 was wet and muddy, but I was able to climb it with a little work of the steering wheel and some go pedal. The others took the bypass which didn't look much better. Further up the trail the green JK flopped on it's side where a group of guys with a strong scent of herb in the air eagerly offered their assistance to right it.

Going back on Sunday we came upon some guy at winch hill 3 by himself asking for a hammer to rebend his drag link. I put in my hitch and straightened for him. We then noticed both his front rims broken as he drove by us only to rebend the drag link again after 20'. This time we put his high lift handle over it so he could drive back out(he wanted to continue towards Meadow to 80).

We went back out through committee. Here is a pic of my bronco right in the middle to show how much water wasn't there, and one of the lake.

                  Re: Fordyce 10/24

Nice. I passed through that area on Saturday (not the trail but the vicinity) and it was a great weekend to be outdoors up there. I'd bet there are not many more nice weekends left this year with clear weather and trails.

Depending on my schedule next year I want to run Fordyce on the Sierra Trek run.

Sorry Matt. I actually thought about that a little too late.

Very cool pics. Im glad the water is low again. A couple months ago it was nearly impossible to pass on 37"s.
