  • Cantina for the 'Con

After making it all the way though, I think I need to do my part.

Since a couple of us have been talking about doing the trail again this year, why not. Yes, I know it will be slammed with people but I really want to make it back to "gods country" soon. I love it up there.

We could just party at the dam or we could push through the traffic and make it to toyota rock or even buck, Tahoe if we are feeling lucky. Or... go from the dam to Ellis then out wentworth.

Like Aaron said, I just want to drive my truck, drink a beer, take a picture, drive some more, Drink another beer on a rock... ... ...

Looks like the date is Sept 4

I was seriously thinking about going up for this run, but learned I'm on call that weekend... Labor day weekend and working - WTF??? I'd still entertain a 'con run or partial 'con run sometime later in September.

With the KOH stampede the next weekend, I just don't think I will make the Cantina this year

            What's the stampede?

It's the Nor Cal qualifier for the King of the Hammers.
It's going to up in the Reno Area.
It's going to be one huge freaking party!

                  Re: Cantina for the 'Con

Im going up (towing, hope there is parking...) Saturday morning around 6am for a day trip. Hopefully on the trail by 8:30 and back out mid to late afternoon. Im taking my cousin who has never been, she is maxed out on the excited meter. I know she is going to have stories to tell when she gets back to college.
