Spent the day fixing the broken trans cross member mounts. Finished up with a little work on the 14 bolt. Man is that thing heavy. Just dumping the drum brakes shaved 100 pounds,

I hope you're not having the same issue as I am with the rotating front axle with those heim joints. Under torque, my front axle is rotating my upper Ylink forward causing the jam nuts to loosen and therefore allowing it to rotate forward. Ive gone through 2 sets of ubolts on the driveline-pinion yoke because the pinion was pointing almost 90 degrees up and down. Not sure if this is making sense.....but it just about sucks
I've come to the conclusion that I will be tack welding the jam nuts so they can't loosen.
