  • New Bronco Project - asking oppinions

Okay this is my 4th Bronco and most likely (if you ask my wife) the last. So here goes, live in the Reno area so lots of playing on Fordyce and Rubicon, so it will be locked front and rear, 38 - 39" tires (curently 35"), extended arms up front maybe link it and link the rear. So what would you recomend for axles I am thinking either Dana 60 or mog front and rear.

Mog axles are awesome... However take a look at Crawlin68's build thread and what he had to do with is frame when he went to his mog-9 rear... in order to get any up travel, he had to rebuild part of his frame.

Mogs would be sick. 60's would be easier to get parts and information.

That is what I am thinking. I have owned a mog and the clearance is addicting, but 60's are more available and I would rather cut for clearance and keep it low that lift it high for clearance. I just think overall the 44 / 9 would suffer with tires much over 35".
