      Re: New project begins

I've been burried under an insane workload and kevin is kind and understanding w/ the slow progress...... here's some more action

finished the cage up.... came up w/ a sweet seat slider set up.

compared it to "the other cage" in a few pics... clearly illustrating why sillyfab® is the answer hahaha

should be reinstalled shortly... then more pics.

            Re: New project begins

holy crap... last update was april. Life has been hell in the shop trying to make ends meet lately. I've dedicated this week to kevin's so there should be lots of updates and maybe completion but not likely.

                  Re: New project begins

Nice, I was just thinking a 20 RCI fuel cell sunken in the floor to bottom of the frame rails then plating under. 3 gallons aint much of a loss?

                    Re: New project begins

nothing wrong w/ that plan.... you'll need to make a skid either way.. then you lose your floor access a bit.

definitely something to be said for not interfering with the interior at all though.

                        Re: New project begins

yeah... it's not as accurate as a fuel test but my welds don't usually leak so it's just incase I made a big f-up and didn't notice.

                            triangulate your face

finally got to stretch it out a bit.... time for shocks and straps... and lots more cutting.

I bet it'll get another 8-10" under that front tire when it's clearanced. it's unreal as it is now and perfectly balanced!

this was just the front left... haven't gotten into the right rear yet.

                              51" under the tire.
