Yes, it is. It's the stock f150 springs from '84 with a shackle flip. It's VERY soft in the rear.

and yes, that makes a lot more sense now that you spelled out the whole story.

It doesnt change my hatred for radius arm suspensions though

and there is still quite a few places to put that sway bar if you really wanted one on a front 3 link, even with the mechanical box. Just the "normal" currie anti-rock, sleeved through the frame, isnt going to do the trick.

Is there any diffrence in heat production between a 393 stroker vs a 408 stroker? I'm looking for low end but not to compromise heat production on the trail. Thanks!

        Re: Project Stangeland 67

I would doubt it. It's still the same external size 351 block. Tuning the timing, fuel, etc is going to control your heat output. Run a large aluminum radiator and a taurus or Mark VIII fan and dont worry about it, imo...

              Re: Project Stangeland 67

Need some help. My build is about to take a turn in a totally different direction. Do any of you know any graphic designers from the Sacramento and surrounding areas? I need someone that can take some concept drawings and ideas and digitize them. Thanks!
