I purchased this bronco with hopes of making a reliable trail rig that can drive to and from the trail and also that I could drive when the weather is too much for my mustang.
It looks pretty ruff from the outside but what bronco hasn't. The important part is the rust is minimal and the truck runs and drives as is. It came with the usual 302, 3 speed, 44, and 9 inch.
First thing I did was sent it over to my buddies house to have him build me a cage and front bumper to hold the warn that came on it.
(Sorry for the cellphone pics I'll get new ones as soon as I make progress)
Then a friend and I put on a wild horses 5.5 in lift, I cut off the rockers and put on new 37 toyos with American racing rims. I need to get wheel spacers now but they'll be here tomorrow. I'm gonna install those and cut the fenders.
Man you're not messing around. I like the front bumper and cage work. Ummm.......I think we need some more details about the buggy in the garage though.
How long have you been working on this rig? Looks like you're making good progress. I do not miss doing body work on mine... but stick with it, it'll be worth it in the long run.
