I got this project a couple of years ago and have been slowly been gathering parts for it. The bronco had an engine fire that burned the engine compartment,electrical,carb,etc. I started by cleaning the frame and extending the radious arms 11". shock hoops for the front and outboard dual shock mounts for the rear.Next came the engine,A 69 351 out of a cougar straight to the machine shop where is was bored .30" decked . New 10 to 1 pistons and a nice set of alum heads ,roller rockers and new cam and lifters to go with it. MDS distributer and 6a box for spark and it was ready to set in and fasten to a fresh built c-4 auto and converter. the front diff was out of a 78 bronco that I cut and narrowed 6'' to bronco width, a set of 4.10 r&p and a trac loc . the rear is the stock 9'' with a 31 spl detroit locker. Next was the body! I started welding up the old holes and knocking out some minor dents and dings. I started on a fender and worked my way around the bronco and when I got back to the fender I started with I went back around it again! the body and paint was the most time consuming part of this whole build!
